Places to Visit in Himachal – When the word tourism kicks in for tourists from outside India, it is Mumbai, Delhi, and Goa’s big states are the first preference to see India in a broader view.

But when we Indians want to go on a trip, we look away from metro cities to a place where we can chill out, and when it comes to adventure too, it is trekking, river rafting, or at least mountains to be around with the best view and least people. Isn’t it so?

So, leaving the most common Himachal places like Manali, Shimla, Mussoorie, etc., we are taking you to an unexplored yet most beautiful area of Himachal Pradesh.

01. Thanedar

Thanedar is 80 Km from Shimla (A three hours drive).

The enchanting beauty of apple and cherry orchards will rejuvenate you completely.

This garden’s beauty is that you will find less crowd due to the few miles of extra travel.

The weather is dry and cold, and the activity is plucking apples and fruits from myriad trees. Surely a wonderful place to spend a weekend.

This is a peaceful place for an outing in the mountains, surrounded by beautiful cherry trees.

03. Sirmaur

The place is well known for its weather, which has a review of ‘comforting to everyone.’

It is at a 121 km distance from Chandigarh, and one can feel the serenity around Renukaji Lake.

Here you can find many of the best quality peaches as major cultivation of peaches happens in this place, and there are beautifully built temples around, which gives you a blissful feeling of the mountains.

It is surely a small village in the mountains, but one should visit it once in a lifetime because the East India Company settled this village in 1847.
