National parks in India

There are 104 operational National parks in India. They cover 43,716 square kilometers. In addition to this, there are 75 National Parks with an area of 16,608 square kilometers that are yet to be developed.

The report titled  ‘Status of Tigers Co-predators and Prey in India,’ released by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for 2018-19, revealed that the national park has 14 tigers per 100 square kilometers is the highest in India.
